We made homemade berry ice cream. If I could change eneything I would change what sauce we made.

Reading

This terms reading we are doing a read task and for this one we are reading the island of the blue dolphin.

My next step is finding more information for the reading tasks.

P.E

This P.E we are running for cross country.

When we did cross country some people got picked to go to costal cluster.

Then top to goes to hawks bay primary.

The cellebratoin tast is every week once a week.

Pride means proud.

I show pride in my handwriting by writing nicely.

For this terms inquiry we did art.

What we was all the year 5-6 had to chose between 6 taster seasons pop are,postal Smauging,nature mandala,tie dye,drift wood and glass blowing.

The best bit about it was when she blow the plastic and the worst was the smell of all the nail polish.

Te rēo māori term 3

This term Te rēo māori we have Been learning to count in Māri.

What I would improve is when the teacher says one of the numbers in Māri I still can't really understand it so I want to improve in that.

What I am good at is counting 1-10 in Māri.

Writing term 3

This term I have been learning to extend  my writing.

What I think I could improve on is when I am making my sentences longer I am thinking what I can do to make it make sense.

I think I am good a making my start writing then adding on to it.

Inquiry

This is our movie we made about the wetlands. We are learning to look after our environment.

Writing

This term for writings we are learning to write poetry.

We have been learning to make haiku poems they are a poem that take syllables 

 the first one was 5 syllables the next one is 7 then goes back to 5.

Maths

For Maths this team we have been learning how to use are passports.

We use are passports for maths workshops how we use them is misses

 leach called out names and if your name got called out you would be in that workshop.

Reading

I'm in eusturies reading group.

Are WALT this team is to find stuff in the story to discrib a character or a object.

My favourite thing in reading workshop is reading the story in my head and finding out about everything in the story.

And for work shops we use stop go cards.

Responsiblity

Responsiblity This term we are We are trying to be responsible in all that we do. I show responsibility in doing my duty which is milk monitor. I show responsibility in keeping my table clean.

Writing

Writing This term we are learning to write a metaphor poem for my metaphor poem I am working on putting more of my Imagination into it.

Swimming

Swimming This term for swimming I am in the sharks group. The sharks have been working on are Medley for this terms swimming sports. I am working on my butterfly because it makes me get so tired.

Inquiry We had some cool fun things that we have been doing in EOTC week some of them where things I had never done before and some of the Things I have done. We went on a Waka , Walked down Te mata peak, learened how to be safe on the beach with lifeguards,swimming at Clive pool,weaving,red woods and swimming in the sea. My favourite part was swimming in the sea.

P.E.

For P.E. We have been learning about hockey 

Some of the skills we learned were Indian dribble,close dribble and open dribble
